1. Continuous, Stable Power Supply: The chosen location must ensure an uninterrupted and stable power source to maintain consistent operation of high-sensitivity equipment. Power fluctuations or intermittent availability can compromise data integrity, induce thermal stress on sensitive components, and disrupt real-time data acquisition and processing. A dedicated, shielded power line or an autonomous power source with redundancy is preferred to mitigate risks associated with power instability.
2. Clear Line-of-Sight to the Sky: The antenna must be positioned in an area devoid of obstructions—most critically, dense foliage or tall structures—that could attenuate or scatter the incoming satellite signal. Vegetative cover, especially from trees with high water content, induces signal absorption and multipath interference, degrading signal quality. Thus, a clear, unobstructed line-of-sight to the satellite arc is essential to maximize signal fidelity and minimize path loss.
